This session is designed for attendees to speak with key opinion leaders in small table discussions. Mentees will get invaluable career advice and guidance from leaders in the field. Discussions with mentors will be on a first-come, first-served basis so interested participants are advised to arrive 10-15 minutes prior to the session start time. Mentees will rotate tables up to 3 times throughout the session, increasing exposure to more mentors/experts in the field.

This session explores the mechanistic foundation of atrial fibrillation, emphasizing atrial substrate development and the impact of comorbid conditions such as heart failure and inflammatory myocardial disease. Presentations will highlight key cellular signaling pathways and emerging targeted therapies that may influence AF treatment strategies.

This case-based session will focus on troubleshooting dilemmas in pacemakers, transvenous ICDs, and subcutaneous ICDs. Experts will walk through real-world scenarios highlighting common pitfalls, unexpected challenges, and practical solutions. Attendees will leave with practical strategies to recognize, analyze, and resolve device-related problems in daily practice.

This session will explore the integration of artificial intelligence (AI) and digital tools in cardiovascular care, focusing on arrhythmia detection, heart failure management, and diagnostic optimization. Attendees will gain insights into practical strategies for interpreting asymptomatic atrial fibrillation detected by consumer wearables, such as smartwatches. The use of remote monitoring to personalize heart failure therapy will be discussed, emphasizing how real-time data can enhance clinical decision-making and patient outcomes. The session will also cover how AI algorithms can reduce unnecessary transmissions from implantable loop recorders, streamlining data management. Additionally, the application of ECG-based AI to identify early signs of left ventricular dysfunction will be presented, demonstrating the potential of AI to support early intervention in asymptomatic individuals. Collectively, these topics aim to provide a comprehensive overview of how digital innovations can be effectively integrated into everyday cardiology practice.

Faculty will each bring up to 5 EGMs to review with attendees covering SVT, VT, andbradyarrhythmias. There will be up to 3 tables per topic. Discussions with the EGM expertswill be on a first-come, first-served basis so interested participants are advised to arrive 10 -15 minutes prior to session start time to ensure a seat at one of the tables.

The Young Investigator Award (YIA) Competition offers valuable exposure to the latest methods of electrophysiology research.

The Opening Plenary features inspiring keynote speeches and remarks from HRS leaders to set the stage for the Meeting.

Case presenters share brief clinical cases illustrating important teaching points relevant to learner/attendee. 

These heavily slide-based sessions allow speakers to share core knowledge, outcome-based recommendations, best practices and lessons learned from key experiences. Speakers will have 10 -12 minutes to present followed by faculty discussion and audience Q&A at the end of the session.

Spirited debate over controversial topics. One speaker will take the "pro" position while the other speaker takes the "con." They each have 15-minutes to present their case followed by a 5 minute rebuttal.

Plenary, lounge hours, neverending conversation, and other sessions that do not fall within the traditional learning formats.

Sessions intended for Fellows-in-Training to participate in engaging,
tactile training on industries' latest technology and therapies. 

How-to/Tutorial sessions on performing high-level clinical procedures. These sessions should serve as training with key steps for the assigned topic. Speakers will have 10 - 12 minutes to present followed by panel discussion and/or audience Q&A.

Informal, slide-free debates held in an open space with a microphone. They are intended to promote open public speaking, debate, and discussion. Audience will be provided with signs to cast their vote of support for one side or the other throughout the debate.

Didactic presentations of abstracts representing significant clinical and translational research findings by topic category. Top-scoring abstracts will be selected as oral abstract presentations. Each session consists of 5 abstract submissions with presentations lasting 10 minutes followed by 2 minutes of Q&A. 

Speakers share their expertise and engage in back-and-forth discussion. This session type is designed to allow for new perspectives from a diverse group of panelists. These thought-provoking sessions will help foster collaborations and provide alternative approaches to both clinical and nonclinical topics. 

Abstract presenters are assigned a 2-hour window of poster presentation time. The recommendation is to put poster up at the beginning of assigned session and stand by poster in the middle hour of the assigned session.

Sessions give attendees a chance to hold small group discussions and have their questions answered with a number of pre-selected experts in the field. Seats at each table will be on a first-come, first-served basis.

Didactic presentations (10-minutes) of late-breaking clinical trials and
science submissions. Following each presentation, an assigned
commentator will have 3 minutes to commentate on the science, followed by 2 minutes of audience Q&A. 

These sessions take place outside of a traditional session room and
feature “silent disco” headsets for attendees. Easily switch between up to 5 concurrently running Node sessions. 2 - 5 speakers will have 10 - 20 minutes to present followed by audience Q&A.
