Health & Safety
The health and safety of attendees, exhibitors, and even support staff is a top priority. The Society is working with the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center (BCEC) to ensure adherence to all local, state, and CDC regulations and guidance. Additionally, the venue has upgraded the Building Management System by replacing all air filters, allowing for a 25% increase in air filtration and improved air quality. Hotels selected by HRS have implemented new cleaning and sanitation standards along with various new policies to limit physical interaction with staff and other guests.
Call for Science – Late Breaking Clinical Trials
HRS recognizes that exciting and rapidly evolving research may not have been concluded by the February 2021 abstract submission deadline. To highlight timely and novel work at Heart Rhythm 2021, the Program Committee will offer opportunities for peer-reviewed sessions of late-breaking clinical trials to allow for later submissions and more emergent presentations.
The Late-Breaking Clinical Trial (LBCT) Submission Site is now closed. The Program Committee will review all LBCT abstracts, and authors will be notified of their abstracts' status in early June 2021.
